USING SOCIAL MEDIA TO INCREASE COMPANY EXPOSURE THROUGH CONTESTS
Pregnant Traveler was a fairly new company with very little social media presence. Nobody knew of the service or what the company did.
Steps Taken to Solve the Problem:
- Create a Facebook Business Page
- Add relevant content from the website
- Posted specific articles relating to traveling while pregnant and shared to social media outlets
- Held Facebook promotions and giveaways for free gift cards
We saw a tremendous increase in social media activity such as post shares, page likes, and post likes during each of the giveaway promotions. This was directly attributed to the explosive social media growth.
The tactics that we used to get people to engage with the posts were designed in a way to start discussions between each of the new followers. The blog posts coupled with the giveaways promoted the company faster than any other social media campaign could.
